Report on VIP-Premiere of «Manhattan Short 2015»

Film Festival in Fifth Avenue

At 17 September 2015  in Moscow in showroom FIFTH AVENUE art&design space at ARTPLAY, which unites under one roof high interior design and contemporary art, was held a Private Preview of film festival “MANHATTEN 2015 SHORT” only for VIP- guests and media – partners, with the support of partners – TOUR DE FILM, VZUG, “NOTHING IN EXCESS” and SCOTT HORWARD. From 25 September to 4 October 2015 over 100 million viewers around the world went to cinemas to choose the best short film of the planet at the Manhattan short film festival 2015 (NY, USA).

Following the results of guests voting in FIFTH AVENUE, in the category “Best movie” was selected the film from Germany «Forever over» directed by Eric Schmitt, in which a young couple in search of thrills starts a list of their desires, but their implementation leads to unexpected consequences.
The best actress was recognized Stephanie Calole who played in the movie from France directed by Alexis Michalik  «Grounded» about a modest airline employee who comes out with honor out of a difficult situation, in which she was due to a couple of strange passengers. The best actor according to voting of FIFTH AVENUE guests  was named Horst Westphal, who played in the German movie directed by Benjamin Wolf “See you soon” | Bis Cleich an elderly man in Berlin watching the city life from his window across the street.
During the Private Preview of film festival “MANHATTEN 2015 SHORT”  in FIFTH AVENUE the atmosphere of coziness was created with the help of partners of event. This evening the guests enjoyed not only aromatic Americano and classic cappuccino, but also real Swiss latte-coffee with different flavors – hazelnut, caramel, coconut, vanilla provided by VZUG. The company “NOTHING in EXCESS” invited all the guests to try their mega-nutritious and healthy, made from natural fruits, nuts, proteins, and a unique coconut detox water cocktails, a variety of smoothies and cold-pressed juices. Great assistance in the arrangement of the mini-cinema hall in FIFTH AVENUE was provided by Scott Howard Design Icons with iconic chairs Panton Chair in blach and red colors (designed by the famous Danish designer – Verner Panton).
