Christian Liaigre owes much of his inspiration from nature

In summer time the theme of the sea and yachting is relevant than ever, and especially close to the French design- house Christian Liaigre. Christian Liaigre owes much of his inspiration from nature and true craftsmanship. He created his own brand in 1987, opened his first showroom in Paris, and then a few others around the world. Recognized widely as Maestro of minimalism, Liaigre focuses on the research and development of fresh solutions for interiors along with his team of 25 architects and interior designers, including industrial designers.

In his studio, Christian Liaigre has a special Department dedicated to the interior design of superyachts headed by Guillaume Rolland (who has previously worked for Philippe Starck). Guillaume Rolland is involved in all the projects created by the design-studio Christian Liaigre since 2002. In addition, Rolland is an active yachtsman, from early childhood involved in this sport and is currently participating in the Olympic regattas.

Among the most high-profile Studio Liaigre projects which won the highest awards are –  the super-yacht Rosehearty (2006), Vertigo (4 award in 2012) and Seahawk (2013).
