Russian modern and French minimalism apartment in the center of Moscow

Noble timeless interior of an apartment in Moscow from Design WOW

Russian modern and French minimalism is a perfect mix for timeless interior from Design WOW, which we present to your attention completed by FIFTH AVENUE with furniture and lighting from LIAIGRE. An old building where the apartment is located was constructed by the master of Russian Art Nouveau – Adolf Erichson. Previously, there were “European baths”, in Soviet times renamed for “Kadashevsky baths”. “We tried to reflect the history of the building on the level of feelings, and not by literal stylization” – says the project authors Lidia Mikaelyan and Yulia Selivanova, Design WOW Bureau.

In the laconic and bright living room, the authors of the project emphasize the elegant brutalism inspired by Christian Liaigre with a perfectly balanced composition – the VERNEUIL II sofa, LNA coffee table, BOUDDHA chairs, Luzin guridon table, Chantecaille floor lamp and Sud banquettes – all from LIAIGRE. In the dining room, the main role is also played by the design of the genius of French minimalism: in the center of the composition there is the ARTOIS dining table, LXVI and MARITIME chairs from LIAIGRE. The dressing room was decorated with an exotic contrasting Bora chest of drawers from LIAIGRE. The guest bedroom has an OMEN bed, a CAPPUCCINO bedside table and a BUCHE table lamp – all from LIAIGRE.

In this refined project Design WOW managed to realize the client’s task by keeping a lot of air in the restrained ascetic space of the apartment located in an old mansion in the center of Moscow, and recreate the atmosphere of an old Parisian house in it flawlessly!
