Maison&Objet 2014 news

Part 6: Chasing for color!
February 6, 2014

We continue to cover the latest news and our discoveries of the last Paris fair Maison&Objet 2014 and Deco Off. Textile show-rooms of the Saint-Germain greeted us with a riot of color. In  all without exception collections dominate active turquoise blue, sky – blue, blue, golden-olive, scarlet, bright pink, coral, luxury natural expensive materials affects inspiration of East, as evidenced by the amazing collections Loro Piana, Rubelli, Tassinari&Chatel, Lilievre, Sacho and others.  Another striking trend – graphics. Under the influence of art, collections of Dedar, Tassinari&Chatel, Lilievre, Sacho, Pierre Frey, Le Manach, Creations Metaphores, Osborn Little impressed us  with bright graphic patterns.

Collection that surprised absolutely everybody is Loro Piana, that  was inspired by India with its rich colors, rich textures and bold bright ornaments, not typical for the brand. In the collection of Pierre Frey was a dominant theme of children’s drawings, naive bright prints are able to add a note to the kindness and warmth in every interior. And J Robert  Scott priorities have changed: the new collection of the brand beige supplanted the «new gray», rather gray-brown with green notes, reflecting all the shades of the morning sea… To touch the finest 100% wool give you almost the feeling of Kashmir – the embodiment of luxury! Brand LIZZO as always showed loyalty to the style of a Mediterranean colour soft, natural, a bit roustic…But even in the collection of LIZZO  lolocally the new trends –  oriental motifs, rich textures and deep colors of velvets and – graphics.

Dear  friends, we brought lots of color! Samples of new collections will appear in our showroom Fifth Avenue very soon.
