An apartment with a masculine character

The project of the Moscow apartment of designer Anna Tyashkun (ALCHIMIA architectural bureau) with pieces by LIAIGRE, Promemoria and other European brands, as well as textile interior decoration from FIFTH AVENUE

The owner of this Moscow apartment wanted to get from the author of the project a restrained and elegant interior “with a masculine character” to match her profession and lifestyle, and it was not difficult to realize such a task for the young designer and architect Anna Tyashkun (ALCHIMIA architectural bureau), since the author herself is an adherent of French minimalism, loves modern design and shares the philosophy of “Less Is More” in its entirety: beautiful and noble textures and natural materials (wood, marble, brass, natural fabrics), laconic shapes of objects, restrained and neutral, but at the same time complex and deep colors.

The whole interior here is built on the play of textures and semitones. There are few items, since the apartment is not big (the living room is combined with the dining room, one master bedroom and two bathrooms are for the hostess and her guests), but each item impresses with the name of a designer: a cozy and at the same time elegant, light Promemoria sofa by Romeo Sozzi is framed by two ebony floor lamps by LIAIGRE, in two laconic arm-chairs are also recognized the signature of the master – Christian Liaigre; the coffee table made of fantasy marble by Christophe Delcourt brings a touch of natural landscape to the interior of the metropolis and “earths” it down, allowing the owner to be a little Zen…The dining group is created not only by an amazing marble island, as if connecting the “landscape” of the living and dining rooms, but also by chairs dressed in creamy bouclee, giving the composition particular comfort and elegance. And the artifact -mirror by Zieta adds sharpness and artistry to the minimalist dining room, expanding its perspective.

Radius dark walls made of wood veneer is a beautiful and very French technique that the author of the project skillfully uses not only in the living room, but also in the bedroom of the female owner. Her shades still have the same cool austerity and minimalism. Tactile textiles by Holland&Sherry, Pierre Frey and De le Cuona speak of high criteria for the quality of life of the hostess of this apartment and her commitment to the timeless style. Bedside tables are crowned with luxurious table lamps with a base of patinated bronze by Bruno Moinard Editions.
