Lighting by Christian Liaigre in the project of Moscow apartment

Free motion – project apartment in Moscow (the architect - Natalia Zelenova, the light by Christian Liaigre, Fifth Avenue)

The architect Natalia Zelenova designed and decorated the apartment of 120 m2 in Moscow for a young couple. The general idea of the apartment is freedom.

The planning solution involves the free movement. Interior doors is without the top crossbar, so the ceiling when the door is open as if it moves from room to room. This technique gave the opportunity to the author of the project to realize her old dream – to make the apartment in one color. At the same time, in different lighting and from different pieces of furniture and the light it’s not clear that everywhere we are surrounded by walls and ceilings the same color. Game textures, the shadows and the glare of the sun make the same color to be  different.

Decorative lighting by Christian Liaigre in the living room emphasizes simplicity and laconic shapes of this modern style apartment. Complex and rich texture of the floor lamp from brushed oak used Christian Liaigre, is perfectly combined with noble natural materials the wall panels in the living room and parquet in the apartment are made of. The size and proportions of the floor lamp make it the center of attraction in the living room. A table lamp with a base of ebony tree in the bedroom from the famous French Maestro of minimalist chic enriches the simplicity of the bed. Coloristic rhythm and geometry of the space of the bedroom perfectly sets the work of contemporary Russian artist Vitaly Pushnitsky from the series “Point of view. Paris.” (2012)
