The house in Zhukovka in the aesthetics of American neo-classics

The project of a countryside house in the Moscow region designed by architects "Bakharev and Partners" with custom-made pieces by Promemoria and handmade carpets Manufacture de Tapis de Bourgogne in collaboration with FIFTH AVENUE

The house was bought at the stage of finishing construction and its decoration was almost completed in many rooms. Therefore, where possible, the details of the decoration were preserved, the rest of the premises were newly finished, decorated, storage systems were made to order, some furniture, decorative details made of glass and metal, several large-scale carpets were also woven at the French manufactory – Manufacture de Tapis de Bourgogne according to sketches by Maria Bakhareva to order. As a result, the interior was completely transformed, became softer and more balanced, played with new colors.

Architect Maria Bakhareva, who actually took on the role of a scrupulous decorator in this project, preferred modern materials, delicate universal colors and laconic and classic furniture – Baker and Ralph Lauren Home. “When the foundation of the space is already assembled, as here, I am happy to select materials, furniture, decor and art —they reveal the character of the client, complement his life, enrich it. This is an incredibly creative, fascinating process, it inspires me endlessly. It is interesting for me to “create the image of a person” through his interior. That is why I often design furniture for my projects, and also lamps, decorative panels, art — all this is specially designed for a specific interior. Here is exactly such an interior, created specifically for this house and especially for the people who live in it.” – says the author of the project Maria Bakhareva.
